I just finished watching it a second time - I'm in awe, speechless, guffawed, heart pounding so hard in my chest I can't find the words!!! BENJAMIN LINUS is by all intense purposes redeemed!!!!!!!!!

His dad is alive, they talked about dharma "Oh Alex" been awhile since we've heard him say it with such sincerity.

I squee'd for Ryan (dude who writes Zap2It LOST) he's had a theory for a while about Richard wanting to die and WOW his story is gonna be good too. Did his speech sound familiar or WHAT??

Tink - I truly believe Island Ben - I think he does want to stay alive, but he had ample opportunity to blow Ilana away and run off to be with Locke - that was a very pivotal moment for him, and for her to accept him - make him feel wanted, almost a true family become human. Then flash-sideways Ben just was great.

I CANNOT wait to see more Richard and his story. Miles, I like him boy does he have a dickish side but then again, what he told Ben also helped I think.

for some reason, I don't care, I'm intrigued that it was brought up but the why doesn't concern me as much *shrugs shoulders* I did like the fact that he was taking care of his dad. Obviously still a bit tense, but some resolution. Also, when he turned on the oxygen 'gas' for him tying in with the Dharma extermination - oooo classic


And we bit of substitute Locke saying he'd listen to Ben - LOVE it

So, how aware of the island dynamics is Widmore . . .

We saw the 'battle' between Widmore and Ben . . . Ben claimed to be the side of Jacob. Does that make Charles the dark side?

I wonder if both Richard and MIB were in chains, if they were the peers and Jacob touched them both but gave them very different things . . . they both seemed to 'serve' Jacob for a long time . . .

It kinda comes down to "What is the Island"?

What an awesome episode! It confirmed so much - and showed us even more! The rerun of the prior episode gave great and confirming information in the pop-ups as well.

I was right about Widmore coming...and I bet he's on Team Jacob. And Team Jacob is the one to be on - the right side...and MIB is the wrong side. (notice they didn't really say good or evil...just right and wrong. So it's still open for interpretaton...but I think it means about the same.)

And right about Ben digging his own grave! I thought Miles playing with the diamonds at the end was funny.

So now we know for sure, candidates are replacements for Jacob...to protect the island. So I am thinking while it could be any of them (of the 6 Ilana is trying to protect)...Jack is in the lead, with Hurley as his Richard, maybe?

I don't think MIB was on the Black Rock with Richard...I think MIB and Jacob are related, and were both children on the island...dating back to when, I don't know.

I loved TL2 Ben, with Alex...very poignant and very well done. He made the right choices, as we knew he would have to. Seeing him with his dad - they got off the island...I would say it had to be probably before he was shot by Sayid - otherwise, the whole temple thing comes into play, and neither seemed fond of the island and were better for leaving it.

So Jacob touching you gives you a gift? Does that mean our LOSTies cannot kill themselves? Or each other? That's what it seemed to say.

Jack has reached some clarity...I can't wait to see how that will play out.

And Hurley is the only one that can see Jacob. I wonder if Richard ever could.

I'm just wondering what gifts Jacob gave to our Losties. Are we to assume that the gifted touches are what we already saw? What gift did he give Kate when he tapped her nose - no sinus problems for the rest of her life?

I nearly fell off of the couch when I saw Widmore. Why do you think he wasn't concerned with the people on the beach? I would have thought he'd at least want to see who they were.

Bry, good call about Richard being a slave on the Black Rock.

I wasn't sure if the flash sideways was to show us that Ben still has a little bit of conniving in him or to show us that he is a genuinely caring and good guy. Also, do you think that Ben's relationship with his father was different in the flash sideways, meaning that his dad wasn't a drunk who verbally berated him as a child?

I was so afraid that Ben was gonna die last night, even up to the last minutes.

It was a nice reunion on the beach!

My first thought when I saw the preiscope: HUH? Then: No...Locke really DIDN'T BLOW UP THE SUB. Then: my jaw dropped open and I almost fell off the couch with Mcshocked. LOST still delivers those WHAT moments!


Agents, don't put too much stock in what the pop ups say. They are outsourced by ABC and have as much credibility as what you or I say. They are also often just plain wrong as with some of the things they said about Zach and Emma recently. Those things are not canon at all.
