I was just rewatching Live Together Die Alone and Penny's line struck me
" I have a lot of money, Desmond. With enough money and determination you can find anyone"
then Desmond aske Penny, based on what her father told him...
"DESMOND: When are you getting married, Pen? "

This is aproximately 2000 I believe. Who do you think Penny is marrying? She obviously didn't marry him. Think it will come back around someday? For a while I was thinking perhaps it was Ben, who hopped back in time wooed Penny and made it so that her father never met him OR this could be before Widmore and Ben had ever met so Widmore would essentially not know Ben yet. That could be a way for Ben to get back at him. That's be an awesome LOST twist!

I've also been wondering if the reason the O6 speak of 8 survivors is because bodies were found

Do you mean the bodies on the supposed wreckage? Or bodies that floated up shore somewhere. The way Jack's story goes (on the stand) it sounds like they died very shortly after the crash.

Well sun seems pretty pissed that Jin supposedly died, so much that she seems to be exacting some sort of revenge. Not like oh he's really just stuck the island, he's really ok type of dead.
