While longevity data are not available for many sharks, maximum ages do vary by species. Some sharks like the smooth dogfish (Mustelus canis) may only live 16 years, while others such as the porbeagle shark, (Lamna nasus) may live as long as 46 years. Whale sharks (Rhincodon typus) the largest fish in the world may live over 100 years.


Some sharks species live from 20 to 30 years.

Some scientist think that the great white shark could be up to 100 years, but it has not been proved.

The tiger shark could be between 30 and 40 years.

Some well known shark species like the mako shark, the lemon shark and the bull shark are still unknown.

The whale shark can live up to 100-150 years.

Scientifically there is no way to determine the life span of sharks.

Soooo, still haven't rewatched but have been keeping a running list of my thoughts/questions.

It does certainly seem that Penny would exist in TL2 . . . Des is wearing what seems to be a wedding band. Did he follow through and marry that first girl we met - or did Des & Penny meet even though her daddy wasn't around to buy wine from the monestary?

I had a friend ask me if Des was really on the plane or if only Jack could see him

Who were Jin & Sun delivering the watch to? I thought that in TL1 they were on their way to Widmore.

Does Artz explode in TL2?

What were those sounds while Miles was trying to hear Jules? Did he really hear her or was he just trying to ease Saywer's mind? Did Miles know that Sayid was not dead? Or did Sayid die and Miles hear someone else step in?
